FACING OUR SHADOWS

I don't think that you have to go anywhere to look for the shadowself. I think it is right here on earth. We encounter the people around us, and we are angered or disappointed or disgusted. We think, "Why can't they be better, try harder"...but mostly, we are angry that "they" are holding us all back from heav'n on earth. It is not so. "They" are aspects of our oneself, the Godself. "They" are "us".
These aspects are not shadows, they are just dimly lit. They are the result of an absence of light; part of our whole soul.

The remedy is that we must love them. "Love thy Neighbor" is a kindergarten rule for a simple human mind. When god tells us to love all others, he is really telling us how to love every part of ourSelf because he knows well that We are One.

So, the question is, do we have to love our small self before we can love
others....or, do we have to learn to love all others to love our self? I'm not sure it matters. As long as we are really expressing love and gratitude for life, the light will expand.

Before I leave the house, I now practice sending light ahead of me. Whenever I dread a confrontation with another person, I work on it ahead of our meeting. Meaning, I recognize them as myself...and i thank them for the valuable lesson they are giving me by taking on a difficult role.(for example: nasty behavior makes me take more
notice of the loving behavior i encounter; makes me find precious, all of the good in my life). So, I open my heart, embrace and illuminate the one I have held separate. I make them one with me. Hopefully, I release myself from the old perception, and step to the next level of awareness.

My angelself does not see the need for this elaborate game. But then, my angelself does not really judge and finds all things delightful, lol. Angelself really doesn't get the seriousness of life on earth...Thank god for the angelself! =)
